    Question Wanting 80!

Guys I've been out of the sport for over 2 yrs. My RXP only has 22 hrs on it with a Riva Stg 1 kit, all the free mods & a few other things. Got the bug again & I'm not sure what do next.

My obvious guess would be to upgrade the SC'er but which one? RUDE 2nd or 3rd Gen or "X" SC'er. What would I need with either SC'er & what can I expect?

    Any input is greatly appreciated.

I think there is alot of info in here about what your searching for. You can see the speed mods database sticky or read through some of the posts.

Well I did read thru the "Speed Mods" sticky but it doesn't look like it includes updates regarding the new RUDE or X chargers.

I would like an honest 80 mph ski but in reality I'm just looking for the best next mod that would give me the best bang for the buck. I'd settle for 75+.

    If you got the $$

See my signature. It's not the cheapest way to 80 but the easiest - IMO. Technically I haven't hit 80 yet but with the 4" intake I'm likely to break 80 without any problem. I'm hitting upper 78's all day. When it's flat out, I'm hitting upper 79's, no problem.

yeah I KNOW you just can not do 80 with stock set up.......... I can get 75-76 with every mod except any internal engine/SC changes @ 300+ hours on the engine. I could do 80 with S/C then rebuild engine soon.LOL

I'm happy with the longevity I've had for the $.

Did I say LONGEVITY, looks like that term has been used before

    Thanks for the input guys.

So basically from what I've summarized from the responses & read in the forum:

    > Add a "X" S/C'er, Riva ECU & 50lb injectors = approx $1900
    > Rude 2, 50lb injectors & Rude fuel controller = approx $2400

I'd prefer not to go into the motor at this point. Just looking to do add on's to get an honest 75+ mph ski & of course a stronger hole shot. I also want the best platform that I can build on in the future.

I'm assuming I'd need to move up from my 14/19R to the 15/20R impeller.

Thanks again...So many choices and/or different approaches...
