    95' slx 780 starts fine now

    before... with the bad stator coils... i got very bad start, now one click and it starts , im soo happy i solved the problem, still got small things to settle... i got a bad accelerator from 10% to 20% throttle... my low speed screws are over 1 turn already...

    i got this feeling i have a 750 carbs installed on my skii... how will we know?help

    According to the service manual the carbs on the 750/780 are exactly the same.

    Are they blue or black?

    Is there 2 fuel hose fittiungs on 2 of the 3 carbs?

    Those are 650/750 carbs. Look pretty rough at that.

    You need to install an (.018 orifice) external restrictor into the return hose when using those. Your 780 carbs have them built into them. The 650 and 750's don't

    kevin, i already opened my carbs many times.. and there is a built in restriction in this location (pictures attached)

    That's the diagram for a 1995 750 fuel system. (same carbs as you have in that pic)

    so...in 750, there is double restrictor? in each carb and also in the fuel tank?

    Install a fuel pressure gauge inbetween the fuel pump and carb, what do you have for fuel pressure at idle and at WOT?
    If you install the restrictor going back to the tank you can measure your pressure between the last carb and restrictor, adjust restrictor size until you get your desired fuel pressure.
