Are these worth a Damn?
was wondering if these are worth the purchase?
one reason i ask is they are about the same price as the stock filter.

you'll gain a better idle and throttle response IF you get the right adapters for them but its actually the adapters that make the difference.whats wrong with your setup???you just clean the filter and reinstall.

nothing is wrong just looking for some performance parts.

for 25.00 plus shipping i'll let you have my lako stacks which will make your stock setup as good as anything out there with stock carbs.check out the carbon tech light tension reed petals, excellent for your setup.get with bruce at wetwolf and see if he'll hook you up with a 3" tail cone extension for your pump.other than 92 octane domes and cdi that's all i'd do.

what exactly are these items?

when there were sold new they were 80.00,your carb tops and flame arrestor base don't line up.the stacks are tapered inserts to smooth out this transition.lako flow benched them and thought they would improve the top end.they improved the idle and low end by eliminating turbulence in the carb throat, which is what the correct aftermarket adapters will do as well.your flame arrestor will flow all the air you need and then some.these make it better on the idle and takeoff.i bought them from 32degh20 for a project and decided not to do it,they are new.the c/t petals will make the biggest difference especally with the solas prop.instead of chasing mph improve the takeoff and acceleration(solas, reeds)and handling(sponsons, rideplate).on a side note the pro1200 is backwards from other polaris like the slx.lots of space behind the stator.the 3" spacer fills in that void for faster pump reloads,i.e. wave jumping, rough water riding

Well worth the asking price. I'd buy them today if I were still running stock carb setup.
