Lookin at a honda tommorow
Hey guys, I am going to look at a 2006 Honda F12-x Tommorow. I know nothing about these skis. I currently own a sea-doo and am looking for a second ski for my wife. I am looking for some advice on what to look for, and the pros and cons of the hondas. I figured as well as all the other honda stuff runs there ski have to be just as good. Thanks

New or used? Hours? Check the turbo and waste gate actuator and make sure they aren't all rusted. If they are be like that dumb Flo chick on t.v. and say "Discount".
Service records if used?
You can buy brand new here in Ca. for 6999. And you can also buy factory warranty with that brand new 4 year old ski.
I like my Honda. I love my Kawi. But the Honda is a good ski. I know guys that have 300+ hours (ocean) on theirs with no problems and never towed in. I only have 30 on mine.

the ski is a 06, non turbo. the guy said he doesnt know how many hours are on and he is no longer in the state. he says he used the ski 5 times in fresh water every time. The ski was left in the hands of his realtor, she tells me she doesnt know anything about these things but this sure looks nice. So we will see what happens.

Read my post on PWCTODAY.COM about "30 minutes can save you thousands" and you will see what is most important to check.
