Best mod for a grand
I've got a stock 07 250x, only mod is a pump wedge. If a feller was going to spend around $1k on this ski, with the goal faster WOT, what would be the recommended purchase?

260 pistons, and zx12r cams if you can get them cheap, i not lx or 15f cams. should come in right at 1k. do the coonass mod for the jetpump or you will have to spend alot more on a new motor if your pump goes south. Thats just me though

Riva ride plate, 6* timing advance, remove and block off the blow off valve, flat filter for the access cover under the glove box, raise your rear seat, remove the rear vent hoses and fittings that are under the rear seat, do the dual feed intercooler mod, remove the 2nd waterbox and intall a "U" pipe. All this will get you some speed and will cost way less than a grand. Spending money on cams and pistons won't get you the speed that the above items will and requires a ton of work.

Thanks for the feedback, I rarely get to ride on glass, 95% in light to heavy chop. Is this the plate?:

yeah, get it here from the online store and type in greenhulk for coupon code and get 10 percent off too.
Or get a used one, some guys on here have em. you might want the 1 degree wedge also, its a good combo.
wow, just noticed, my next Post count will be 666. No wonder my ski is broken...
