    Need some help please

    Hi I just went out for a ride with my fzr it has the vipec in it with a twin prop it was reving 8400 rpm's on the pet 2100 and doing 78.2 on gps the red light came on and the oil light was on I shut it off and restarted 2 times and the light went out I then took it out and checked the oil level and it was about 1/4" below full I am wondering what the sensors on the fzr measure if it is temp or level of oil or both the temperature out side was 75 so not that hot. I was wondering if it could be the vipec throwing a false code or if I need more oil or more cooling. I also have the r&d ride plate r&d inter cooler riva intake sleeve and intake and C3-11 I am also surprised that my injectors are at 94 to 100 percent duty cycle I thought you needed to be at 15 psi or more to get the duty cycle so high so the other question do i need to get 1000 cc injectors I hope not. Any help would be appreciated.

    Oil

    Maybe u have something stuck in the water lines blocking the cooling lines to the oil cooler? Also how do u like the twin prop any Cav on take off ? and which prop did u buy? Hey do u have ajustable fuel regulator?

    Doesn't measure oil level. There is an oil pressure switch (as in on or off).

    I suppose if the level was low the feed tube (not the scavage) could have been exposed for a short period causing a drop in pressure? That tube pulls in from the rear left of the oil pan.
    It also sits higher in the pan than the scavage tube.

    Beyond this, my question would be, "Why is the oil level low?".

    Also, the stock fuel pressure is around 50 psi.

    Shobiz were do you keep your oil level mine is a little higher than half way between add and full I thought that was ok. That was my first time out with the R&D twin prop and no there is no cavitation but the oil light has me concerned.

    Oil level

    I would do what the owner manuel says about oil level
    how much boost are u making at 8400 Rpms to get 100%
    duty cycle on the injector? and what is your fuel pressure ? stock?
    Also check your setting on the vipecc to see if they are set right.

    Need help

    I have a regulator and it is set at 65 psi and as far as the vipec how do I set that up I am using the stock map for the vipec up to 15 psi my c3-11 is putting out 13 psi maybe 14 hard to see doing 78 I appreciate all the help I hope someone chimes in on the oil.

    I put an angle gauge on the top of the valve cover and make sure it is at zero. Then I fill to the fill line.
