    vts

    Can Someone tell me how to get my vts to work manually. Im searching for a used one for my 96 xp . It is stuck in the down position .

    if you want to just move it to the middle you have to pull the front cover of the vts housing. there is a screw type shaft in there that moves your nozzle. pull the vts and screw this shaft in a little

    Spot on, though you do not have to pull the whole VTS, just take the cover off and unbolt the motor. When you pull the motor out you will see the jack screw. You can then turn it until you have the nozzel where you want it.

    Then just work the motor back onto the screw and tighten it back up (without the motor it will not stay, you see). This is easier than messing with the rod at the nozzel and you will not have to re-adjust anything when you get a new VTS box.
