    Need help on 95 slt750

i just bought it last year and have had it out three times. the first time i took it out it had a cavating problem. took a look at it and found the metal part that seals to the hull and ride plate was broken.not sure what is called. replaced it and sealed it up good, and checked the prop looked okbut it had a good sized ding in it. took it out it was better but it still is cavating. so i took the prop and had it straighten and balanced.o buy the way it's a 371 prop. it was better but not right.so was thinking that it might be the rubber coupler, so i pull it off and i the process i see a motor mount broken so getting ready to change it out and i find that the engine cradle is broken in two. can any one tell me how it happened? looks like i found someones problem child. thanks in advance for any insight into this problem.

    Welcome to the Hulk.

    Pics will help out alot.

Is your 371 impeller a 3 blade? If so, that's a 15/20 impeller for a SLT 780 which has another 12 HP than your 750. Meaning it's too big for your ski.

The engine cradle being broke is a first I've heard. Bolts vibrating out has been mentioned a couple times, and a broken motor mount, but never a broken cradle.

It does sound like that ski had a serious problem at 1 time.

Post up some pics and we'll see what we can help you with.

The 035 would be the stock impeller for a SLT 750.

Depends on what type of riding you do. Are you riding 3 people, tubing, top speed, bottom end, flat water, rough water, engine mods, etc....

What are you looking to gain from an aftermarket impeller?

What color are the carbs? blue or black?

    That helps ALOT!!!!

You have a 780 engine. Keep that 371 impeller.

The wear ring is broken at the mounting stud on the lower right of the jet pump.

That engine plate/cradle is insane!!!!!! Is there any hull damage?

That's a decent aftermarket ride plate you have on there now. It isn't damaged is it?

You seem to have a similar set up to what I just did this winter.

    http://www.greenhulk.net/forums/showthread.php?t=117624

    It's a 1994 SLT 750 hull with a 780 bored 1mm oversize.

Read along and you can see what mods can be done to yours.

I'll be putting it in the water REAL soon.
