    Rubber Plugs in 750 Airbox

Has anyone pulled the rubber plugs/flutes out of the airbox on a 750 Kaw twin carb? I have a 750 ZXI and was going to pull them out for the heck of it to see if it helped any. I've turned the high speed screws out 1/8 turn to compensate for the possible increased air flow. Didn't know if any 1 tried this with positive or negative results.
    Thanks,
    Brad

You could pull them out. I did it many years ago on my 750XI.
