Removing Both waterboxes and running a stainless muffler

Hey guys I am working on my 15f some more now that class is out, and I was wondering if I could delete both waterboxes and just run a 90 degree bend off the header into a stainless muffler

    http://www.verociousmotorsports.com/...l-Race-Muffler

like they use on the yamaha and seadoo skis into the u bend that bypasses the secondary waterbox and then out the back through the stock exit. would this get too hot? Should I tap the pipe for a waterline or would the standard exit from the header cool the exhaust enough? I am leaving room for another muffler in case its too loud I just dont want to have the connections melt

i run a U bend with the riva 250x outlet. Safe if water comes back into the pipe as it has a few bends to get thru for water to get into the motor, thus, I've never had any issues with this. Sounds foking wickid too! Its hella loud tho! I had some pics around I'm sure of, Waz even fabbed up one for his ski after seeing the pics. I have no waterbox...both deleted. and stainless will prevent rust, so its the way to go IMO.

hmm, the way that i am planning on running it more or less follows the factory routing on it so water intrusion wont be an issue, I just dont want to melt anything or be outrageously loud

even with a water line it will be LOUD. I would put one in, I have seen seadonkey blow a hole in his water box when the line blocked up. Was alum waterbox though.

I have been running a straight pipe for @ 100 hours, it was made by R Rated. I tapped it and put two water lines to it,on top of the regular water in the exhaust, and I put a valve in it to change the water flow if I wanted to.............. its still foking loud.....

running 2 of the mufflers wouldnt be hard to do, there is more than enough room to do one before the u bend and one after. I think ill end up trying it and if i dont like it ill put it back to stock.

    R Rated Straight Exhaust

    http://www.greenhulk.net/forums/show...3&postcount=52

Just remeber there is water flowing on the outside of the exhaust manifold log, the pipe sizing has to allow that water to flow, if you look at the end of it, there are small holes around the outside that flow water................
