Swapped my crashed 06 155 gtx hull to a 05 RXP with pics! up and running!

So here it is took about 2 days 4 guys and 2 cases of beer...
so heres the pics some pics of the swap going together
    The old hull

    removed hood

    Air intake

    exhaust/ water box/j pipe removed

    Rear of pump

Guage cluster(notice the 2 the clips on the bottom...

GTX hood. 2 small screws that hold the cluster in. Located under the chrome bezel

Good 06 GTX, 05 RXP hull, donor gtx

My garage with the skis and bikes

How to remove a 4 tec without removing anything off the engine.
Or perfect example of hot not to remove the old engine

Making room for the exhaust and starter

First time trying to pull it with the hull cut

Had to make a larger hole...

the empty hull after all the oil drained out of the PTO driveshaft output

    another of the empty hull

    ____the engine finally out.

RXP engine compartment. WOW so much more room!

Getting ready to switch the rxp and gtx out on the trailer

RXP on trailer and engine going in

    Droping it in

    old hull on floor

New engine in and sitting in the drive way for a test fire

Fits like a glove... so much room... couldn't have asked for it to go in any easier and it looks like it was make to be in it.

    Battery/ mpem

mpem mounted. Did not have to cut any wires just had to re route the harness

    under cooler

So it was super easy to put it in evrything was basically a plug and play
With the exception of getting the Bellow boot from the 155 hull on the Tru hull seal on the 215.... Here's a hint for the next guy doing this one. put the bellow boot in the oven at 200 degrees for about 5-6 mins to help it strech
    Here's how it broke down
RXP hull form andy lohr 1200
    shipping 425
    RXP 155 Driveshaft 264.00
    new wear ring 50
    misc. bolts 10.00
    oil and filter 35.00
battery cables to extend power to starter and battery to ground 20.00
2 cases of bud light. 35.00
2 nights with good friends hacking up the old seadoo and putting and working on our first seadoo project ever...Priceless
Junk gtx hull. Sold for 1200.
Total cost before selling hull 2,019.00 after selling old hull 819.00 no to bad if you ask me..
    As for how it runs....
ZERO LEAKS!!!! not even a drop in the hull after 1hour ride time in some decent chop...
took it out today and showed 69-70MPH on the speedo... GPS'd at 59.8 on revlimiter at 7680. from 60 on on the speedo.... only mods were custom cold air intake, and removed the resinator... thinking if we remove OPAS, add a top loader grate, switch ,add pump wedge and add a Thru hull we should see 64-65 gps....then its time to do a low budget turbo set up....
