    Hot Seat Gas Valve Springs

I'm glad I decided to clean the valves because all my springs are about completely rusted. What color are stock HS gas valve springs?

If i remember right the valves work off of crankcase pressure and if you don't have enough pressure you need to lighten up the spings

They were fine...this is on my '98. The old springs were almost completely rusted away but I can't tell which color they were.

Interesting...they did supply them with the lightest spring? I'm guessing most people had them under max preload with the caps?
