How do I trim up the bow

Took my second ride on my GTI SE today and noticed that the bow needs to be trimmed up slightly as I am not a small person. Is this easily done?

You can start by pump wedge

I don't think GTI's have the VTS...meaning there really is no way of trimming it up unless there is some hull mod you can do, but I dunno

+1 if they are available. Also, I could have sworn that on the older 3 seaters you could swap the venturi bushings around somehow to angle the steering nozzle up somehow. Not sure if this would be the case for you.

Thanks for all the answers. What is a pump wedge and where do I get one?

It is a spacer that tilts the jet spray up by changing the angle of the pump.

They used to be all over the place, it seemed. You might try Riva, or Parker Yamaha, or even PPG. I am not sure if anyone still makes them, though.

Just make sure it is for the correct size pump. I do not know the year of your boat so I am not sure what pump it has on it.

Sorry, it's a 2007 GTI SE. Found it used at at a car lot with 9 hours on it about a month ago.

DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY on a wedge! You can get a '96 HX vts ring and a manual
adjustable knob that you can manually tune the tilt to your likeing. About $60. Bills86e

    Also on some SPI models.
