    Fuel float needed...

Anyone have a working spair for the cylindrical fuel senders? (my ski is a 96 sl780... I just need the float as my sender works fine.. the float is water-logged and sinks always...

    Thanks,
    Jared

I've got a couple here. They have 3 hose connections on top and extend into the tank 13". Does that sound like the right size?

They are $23 plus shipping from atlantic powersports... (I think that's where I went..) but If I could get a used one that works for a couple dollars I would prefer that first... Aaron.. do you have just floats (or maybe the question is.. would you be willing to sell just a float and you could ship it with my pro CDI? The bolt on the bottom of the senders comes off and the cap comes off and the float will just slide right out of the sender... My sender works like a charm, the float is always sunk though giving empty readings even when the tank is full.. I've had to short the two wires coming from the sender to get the CDI to go out of limp mode so I could drive the ski...

How much life do you think will be left in a used unit? It'll sink in short order and you'll be doing the job again, open that wallet and let one of those venders send their kids to college.
