My 09 ZR has 10hrs on it, power fliter, manifold uprade, FF ex, R&D grate, 13/23 solas and vented the hull behind the cowlings; a stage one minus the ride plate. I have tried to listen and feel the limiter but I dont notice a thing. Good, bad and can someone explain what I should be hearing or feeling? Thanks

On smooth water I wouldn't imagine you are on the limiter with your set-up....but, if you are in rougher water and become unhooked you will hit the limiter. To me it kinda' goes "quiet", with a loss of power, but only for a moment.

you will not hit the rev limiter with your mods and that prop.
when you hit the limiter it sounds like a popping noise coming from the exhaust, sometimes its hard to hear it depending on how hard your on it, if you slightly turn your head to the side you can hear it better than if your looking forward

Best way to know if you are on the rev limiter is let someone ride it and u stand on the shore and listin....U can def. hear it if u are on it...But i doubt u are on it with the prop u have. I believe if u are on the rev limiter on top end for a while u run rich or lean i caint member...some of the pros should chime in and let u know.
