    accelerator pump still in place?

I'm not a big fan of removing the choke plates off the 951, just imagine if the engine diesel (runaway)
    you're engine will go BOOOM!

My jetting on my XPL with Pro-k is the following as per Krunch,Shooter

    85 Pilots
    167.5 Mains
    Stock needle & seat
    stock pop off

Max, if the chokes are off they have usually installed a primer kit. The primer works as well, if not better, to stop a runaway on the trailer. You just have to pump it like King Kong with a stiffy.

Oddly enough, the parts fiche shows the RXX coming from SD with 75 pilots and a 177 in the front and a 172 in the back carb. I kind of thought they would have put a 2.3 N/S in there too but it shows a 2.0.

    Mag http://partsfinder.onlinemicrofiche....e=13&A=84&B=18
    PTO http://partsfinder.onlinemicrofiche....e=13&A=84&B=19

The stock air box on that thing would be very similar to Proks, I would think, so the carbs should probably be set up close to stock (stock for the RXX, that is).

Taking into account that it came with FP twin pipes and a different MPEM map I would go with the bigger main (Perhaps the 177 on both since I have a hard time getting my head around a front biased jet stagger, though that may be how they run best) and maybe bump the pilots up to 85s like we do on the single stock pipe 947s with the accel pumps.

You probably need to bump that up a bit since the chokes are out but I have not run them like that and do not know how much you need to compensate.

Perhaps someone who has done some RXX or FP-twin tuning will chime in.

They were a race boat right out of the crate (along the lines of the 95 XP-800). It is not much of a rec rider at all, IMO, but they are pretty and have the necessary macho-ness that one would expect in such a package.
