i figured id start this thread since i read skigolf's about his race and i have be wondering for some time now about how to get in to the closed course race seen.

does anyone have any links to offical web sites that i can find race events around me?

i would like to get into a few down the road... when i get a ski capable of handling a race..

Look at the web site www.isjba.com
    find your region,
    find a race promoter,
We have 2 race promoters in region 5 where I am located in Texas,

One is affiliated with APBA and one is ISJBA.

I chose R5 Water X Racing with ISJBA
Ask several jet ski dealers in your area who they would recomend?
their are so many different race classes even payout classes,
One ski can race several classes and groups,
Its fun, and most of the riders are good people, and are willing to help anyone out.

Yeppers, my rider Niclas Granlund took the whole enchilada in 96 aboard a triple piped Polaris 1050...those were the days. We spanked the competition that year, good stuff.
We sponsored Nic while he worked for Proto Pipe, he and Dave made their own set of pipes. I can't begin to tell you how hard that boat pulled, my shoulders hurt to this day.
