2010 RXTiS 260
Just a couple observations after 2 hours of riding on the 2010 iS 260. The ski starts in touring mode. I hit the lever and it slooooowly got up on plane. I thought something was wrong. Then I figured out how to get the thing in sport mode. Much better in sport mode. I only saw 65 mph max. At this point I feel the 2009 255 iS would beat this ski. I've been told the 260 iS will wake up after a few hours. Let's hope so. Anyone else have feedback on the 2010 iS?

The Ecu will gain a 100rpm after 2 hours another 100 after 3 and more after 4 hours. It will accelerate harder after 9 hours.
It is basically on a progressive curve until 10 hour breakin.
2-5hours is big difference.

I'm having the same experience. I'm at 6 hours and she is slowly opening up.

11 hours on the 260 iS now. I honestly feel the ski is running very well. I see a top speed of 73 on the speedo (only for a moment) and then backs down to 69-70. I went on a 127 mile ride yesterday and enjoyed playing with the different features, like GPH- I was burning 5 GPH at 35 mph. Jumped up to 8 GPH at 45 mph. 19 GPH WFO. The cruise control is great for long pulls.
I wish the ski would start in sport mode but I can live with hitting the "Mode" button a few time which converts it to sport mode.
Overall I'm liking this ski more every ride.

After you start the ski, hold down the SET button for a few seconds and then it will beep asking you to confirm Sport Mode, press SET again. Therefore you don't have to go fishing through menus.
Mine went right up to 68 according to the Digital speedo and stayed there. But I was heavy on fuel as well. I'm burning 5 gal/hr in mixed riding as well.
