HELP! 06 RXP loss of power!

Hey guys, first time posting here but after researching which machine i wanted to buy i realized that this is the site that i should be on, with all the great info. I just purchased an 06 RXP with 40 hrs on it, tried it out twice, first time worked great. second time worked great for five minutes and then wouldnt rev past 6,000 rpms and 50 mph... machine kind of sounds like it is missing on a cylinder.. or maybe it is supposed to sound like that and is losing boost? Machine is stock right now, no mods done yet. Any ideas? thanks in advance for any replies.
    Ian.

Your sc washers could have failed. Go to the how to section and get the instructions to pull your sc to inspect it. Post up pictures of the shaft if you can. If the washers have failed and you ride it further it can cause further damage.

I would try changing the spark plugs before going too far.

Either that or maybe bad coil packs.

Hi Ian, welcome to the forum.

Definitely start by changing the spark plugs.

Next thing you will want to do is update your supercharger clutch with the metal washers.

thanks for the idea's guys, i changed all plugs, still no difference. I'm going to pull the charger off tonight after work and i guess its safe to say that it is probably the clutch washers? when i order them from here in the online store, about how long would it take to ship to canada does anybody know? Also, should this be something that i should take the washers to the dealer for instalation or is it something i could tackle home in the shop? I like to do all my own work, but i never messed with a superchager, is it as intimidating as it seems? haha I will post pics as soon as i get a chance in the next couple of days.

Get in contact with jerry aka green hulk and send him the sc for rebuild. Can you let us see the shaft when you pull it first though?

Try the IGNITION COIL one it is dead that s why sounds like it is missing one cylinder.
