    FZR Pro Stock Kit

Hi I didnīt find any threads for Closed Course Racing,ProStock
any opinions, experiences between like RD-kit Riva kit.
I have tried to get some more information from manufaturers, but it seems to be very difficult to get answers.
Motec seems to be best ECU, what is exactly needed than box itself. (usb-can cable?? atleast
How about dual prop is that worth it?

    any info would be helpful

Welcome to the forum--well 2008 and you just make your first post... I find that impressive.

Answers to your questions are found (it seems) in conversations or PM's. However, once in a while something is posted that is new to most or at least just me.

Prop/pump setups seem to be still in the works with some that work better than others. I would say keep reading and get with the guys that ride like you ride.

    My rec riding .02.

The ViPec ECU comes with the USB cable. The main advantage of the MOTEC is that it can be used in other skis. So if you sell your boat you could use it in another one. Also, if you get an ECU you will need to put on a fuel pressure regulator. Sponsons are a must and I recommend removing the Intake ribbon.

If you are serious and get the MoTec I would highly recommend getting the logging and lambda enabled from the get go. Without those you will not have any idea what is going on and will not be able to effectively tune the engine.

For starters, for the performance of the ski I would address the:
Intake Grate (1st on a FZ!)
    Ride Plate
    Intake ribbon
    Intake itself
    Exhaust
    Intercooler
    Engine Cooling

A MoTec SDL Display and SLM could be very useful as well if allowed.

And then on and on in accordance with Prostock regulations and rules until the budget is blown to hell

You can not touch the exhaust in Stock class. I would recommend additional engine cooling as well.

I am not a big fan of stock class but have run one my self an have a few mates that go all right in it

    R&D grate
riva air filter kit over the R&D one for sure
    R&D ribbon remover
Motec m400 get at least the logging feature
    motec UTC cable

    watson racing cooling kit
as for ride plate have run both the works which knocks the top speed around a bit but turns in good
and R&D is good for speed
R&D may work well with the right set of sponsons
most have been using the R&D ones but are less than impressed so have made up there own paddles
maybe look at macc racing sponsons when they come out
inducer style prop is definatley worth it in my book
dont be suprised if you have to get the prop built up and remachined to suit your housing as soon as you get it as some of the tolerances are abit all over the place or just order the prop 1mm oversize and have it turned down to suit your wear ring.

as for needing a fuel reg for after fitting an ecu in stock class as mentioned above i just dont see that being required with a motec

Intercooler also has to be OEM in Stock.

I thought you could not run the blow off valve in stock class?
