    Will ethanol harm 4 strokes?

I have been hearing about people having problems with their skis caused by fuel with ethanol added. Where I ride the fuel contains 10% ethanol and I want to make sure that it is not hurting my ski. Should I some sort of fuel treatment when I fill up or should I not worry about it?

    Ethanol

The biggest danger from ethanol for a four stroke ( besides getting spiked gas)is water in and eventually the phase separation of the fuel. Two strokes have other issues with rubber parts.

Keeps you tanks full and filters changed. Keep fuel cap off time at minimum. assure fuel tank vent system is operational.

There's plenty of info on this here there and everywhere from a half dozen vendors in the marine engine biz.

Amsoil has a new product now just for this called Quickshot.

You can read more about it from the link. I am picking up a couple of bottles this weekend. Not to expensive ether...

Thanks for the link, I might look into this, price-wise it's right in line with Sta-Bil Marine.
