    Hood Rattle Fix?

The latch on my hood rattles at idle. I moved around the rubber gasket where the hood latches but no luck. It's an 07' Ultra 250.

Anybody have an idea of a fix for this? Thanks!

What I did was put more rubber tape around the bucket and solved issue for me. Use the double sided sticky kind at Ace or Home Depot. I used it under lip of bucket, The one on there is crap. Hope this helps

if you put it around the top of your bucket it actually makes the bucket water tight never had an issue with the one on the reverse side.

what about with the adjustable pin, does that make it water tight? i have my amp mounted under my hood, i dont want it to get wet. im between weatherstripping on the top of the bucket or getting the adjustable pin.

No water in my bucket either. I guess both ways would be okay... And I ride in ocean conditions all the time or 100%.

one thing to consider the pin will only pull it down tighter on the top end not the hinged end. the the foam rubber stick on tape option actually seals all the way around evenly to the rubber seal in the lid (just food for thought)
