How do I increase the idle on my 08 FX HO?

Is this a product of bad plugs?

After storing my 08 FX HO for the first time, this spring the idle seems low and I have a slight rattle when the ski idles but goes away if I slightly increase the throttle a bit. Also, the ski now only goes about 50 mph...

    Thanks all

Here's video of what it sounds like

The idle is not adjustable and is controlled by the ECU.

assuming you've already had it in the water once & the problem's persisting - verify your intake/filter is not obstructed and check your plugs for fouling.

Will do, I wonder if the winterizing fogging oil I shot into the intakes takes awhile to burn through? The ski only has 16 hours on it..Idle just seems to rev slower than last year...

It idels at 1,600rpm, max rpm's were around 8,500k and the top speed was only 49 mph, I could definately tell it wasn't running at 100% I took the plugs out and they were pretty black at the igniter, so I have new plugs to put in this weekend. Do you think it was just the plugs? I only have a few weeks left on the 1 year factory warranty.

Yep put in new plugs and make sure you don't have the oil tank overfull.

I checked the oil, all good, i'm putting new plugs in this weekend.

Here's a pic of my old plugs, these only had 18 hours on them, typical?
