Not to mention if they prepreg'd that CF hull there is basically no way to repair it . If its wet lay up , then you can repair it and have it look like shit.

    Mpeavler and Zmydust,
I would have to disagree with both of you. I own a cf gp. One that was actually raced and sustained some hull damage. The hull itself was not prone to cracking and the crack that did occur was a result of hitting a buoy weight at high speed. Remember these boats were produced and raced back in '97, '98 and part of '99 before they were outlawed so that you and I could afford to compete with the factory sponsored teams. The hulls can and were repaired, they might not have been put back into service as the primary race hull, but found duty as practice boats and such. This I'm told was beacause of increased weight.....the primary reason for going carbon fiber in the first place. Bullett made a fine hull and continues to make very fine cf bass boats, which can be repaired and are not prone to cracking........

For 3200.00 somebody "stole" that boat and a whole lot of history.....not to mention very limited production and one-off parts.......wish I would've seen the post before it sold, I'd have two carbon fiber GP's right now. One with a triple and the other a twin.......

Not the same "bullett" company, if I'm not mistaken??

The guys that made the cf hulls were based out west, and only did ski stuff. Brothers I think. Tim, was his name, I think.

    They repair just fine.

I would have bid on it but then I go to thinking that would leave me with 3 GPs two with cracked hulls. SO I would have a TON of parts for 1 good hull. Maybe it wouldn't have been so bad...if it was closer to me I would have def bid on it.
