Driveshaft for 05 RXT
looking for a driveshaft to fit a RXT. my stripped out today. and almost flooded my ski. for some reason... when I pulled the seat off, I had a 3/8 gap between my carbon seal and retained, and the driveshaft last 1/3 of the splines are striped, any idea what could have let the driveshaft move forward more than normal???

Got one here if you want, but may be better sourcing closer to home. They are heavy as you now know.
Gimme a shout if you are interested.

BTW, check the pump is all tight, and the splines in the prop are good. Rubber buper on the engine end of the prop shaft is one to check, as sometimes it gets mis-placed.

the prop looks like it may be ok. will check it tomorrow with the prop tool to see if its is usable. the rubber bumper was on the end of the driveshaft when I took it out. this is the first time the shaft has been removed, and it has 160 hours on it.

Hmm, the whole thing seems to have moved to inside the hull by 1/4" or so.
Driveshaft is correct one for sure, but yours is not too well now.
The rubber nose on the shaft may be the measured error we can see.
Do you have any thing between the pump and the hull, or is the pump not fitted home in the pump shoe?
It should be tight against the hull at the bolt tabs all round.
