    650sl triple pump question

I replaced my fuel pump with a triple, changed the fuel lines, cleaned the carbs and now when I start it the idle is extremely high. What can I do to get it lowered? I mean its like I have the throttle pushed 1/4 of the way.

Sometimes while the fuel is making its way through the system it runs lean and you have a high idle situation.
Choke or prime the boat to keep the idle down until the engine gets a little temp, that should bring the idle down if it's just lean.
The better way of course is to run it in the water while doing this. I like to strap them to the trailer, back it into the water where the pump draws water and then run it. You can check for leaks and set the idle at that time.
