i got a top end kit for tha 1050 , an they are std. bore , when i rebuild my motor which will happen before it blows up , cant i just hone or polish tha cly's an not bore them out any more so i can use my wsm platinum std. pistons , or would i have to buy new cly's like weisco or does wsm make them ? i got tha whole top end kit for 123 $ bearings pistons gasket's o ring's , also what are tha best manual's 2 buy ? like a haynes for tha polaris

It all depends on the cylinder condition! you need to check clearances when you get it apart! But you did get a steal on that kit! Clymers makes a manual for you and all that will be in there!! we also need to see if they are nikasil coated? let see what others say! Z

I've just honed them and threw in a new set of pistons and rings many-a-time. If it's all withing spec and the ring gap ends up within it's working range, you can surely re-use the cylinders.
That was a great deal on the kit.
Oh I prefer a Polaris manual, no reason, that's just me

Someone will have to check as I thought it was only the PRO785's and the MSX Domestic engine.

sounds like you don't need to do much! I would hang onto the piston kit in case one goes south ! and find a good OEM bore spare cylinder from ebay! I'm still OEM bore on my 92! just catch or replace stuff before it's a bigger problem! Sounds like your on that path anyway! Z
