Low RPMs 7500 after installing Walbro pump

Anybody experiance this???I just replaced my wifes OEM fuel pump with a new Walbro..After running it i cannot get the RPMs above 7500 rpm and it starts surging like its on the rev-limiter..and im now getting 12 volt low codes along with P0562 which means low battery voltage..I was wondering if anybody else has experianced this and if so what was their issue/fix??

    Thanks guys
    Sno.

I have read that the walbro has more pressure than the stock pump, and if running it with the stock fuel pressure reg it cant bleed off enough pressure thus making it run rich and not been able to rev. Not sure about the low voltage though.

I think he has a rising rate regulator so I don't think it is related to the stock fuel pres reg.
Sno, didn't Juan have a similar issue last year on his 06

Correct Doug, I have an Aeromotive RRFPR in line..I talked to Juan and he said he never had an issue..I think it was Chuck....

damo, The AFR is good at WOT..It is at 11.6..So its not running rich enough to kill the RPMs..

It was just a thought because i remember reading someone had changed to a walbro and couldnt work out why it was running rich.

Check your fuse for the battery charge. I had this exact problem on the RXT & the fuse was bad. Replaced it & the battery code & warning flashed for a few seconds & went away. This was last night too. I was low on rpm as well so i'll run it tomorrow & see if it all comes back.

    Steve,

You will need to have the ski hooked back up to the buds system to reset your TP senor to zero..
