    Speedometer Reading

Ok, so we took our 2002 GTX DI out for the first time and all we could get it up to is 48 on the speedometer, I think we could get it up a bit more if we had a bit more space but I'm wanting to know what the speedometer should max out at, I know it's not the true speed but it's a good comparison tool.

    Welcome to GH.

The factory speed'O has NOTHING to do with how fast you are going. W/out a GPS you'll never know (I've posted 115++ on speed'o)

I know, but I'm just thinking that the speed is a bit slow, I know it isn't as fast as the older DIs and that the speedometer reads a bit different on the older models.

My point is you have no idea how fast your going. weeds or string can slow down the readings of the speed'o wheel.
