    Seadoo 951cc overbored by 1.4

    I have a 2003 seadoo 951cc motor that is being rebuild
    and getting 1.4 oversize pistons...

    Maybe a dumb question...but is it now a 960cc? Just curious, how much it actually goes up by...

    Cheers
    Mike

    With a 1.4 oversize piston and a standard crank your CC's are 982cc.

    A stock 951 Sea-Doo crank has a stroke of 78.2mm & the stock bore is 88mm.

    This is the formula:
    CC's = (Bore X Bore) X (Stroke) X (.0031416) / 2

    (89.4 x 89.4) x (78.2) x (.0031416) /2 = 981.754cc
