Post 97 Gp 760 fuel gauge

Two sleds, when stored for winter one was 1/2 to 3/4 full of fuel, the other empty except for @two gallons..Both had stabil in the fuel. When pulled from storage, the one with 1/2 to 3/4 tank reads perpetually full, it never comes off full. The other reads always empty, and the warning buzzer sounds for low fuel, even when full. Any one have any ideas on what is wrong or how to fix this?

Check out my thread and you'll see that I've got the same problem. It appears that it is a bad fuel sender.

Thanks .. Guess I had better get looking at ebay..we have ridden these 4 times now and still stuck or bad. I wonder if there is anything that can be done to prevent this happening again?
