What position? You're built like a receiver or safety/corner.

We did not start practice till about a month before the start of school in my day. But we did 2 a days, do schools still do that?

yea most schools do two-a-days for the first couple weeks of practice. Kale, im surprised that you are aloud to start practice so early...in high school we couldn't start till a specific date

we have our football camp.. that is this week we run plays and stuff so that the new freshman know all our stuff..
because we go to a missouri team camp in june and basically own at it...
then we just lift and run everyday after that so it isn't like "practice" but it's the whole team. It works out some how.
then Two a days when school starts!
If I was only going to mudbug this year you guys would see how much I've changed.. I'm 6'0 and getting closer and closer to the 200lb range. That is what I want. I'm at 184lb and have gotten 10x stronger. I'm gonna play Dog which is like a linebacker next to the outside linebacker..
we have our 3 linebackers, then 1 more on each side of those..
and also play tight end

Back in the eighties we could practice basically all summer. Everything is voluntary till the first Monday in August here in NC. We had school camp, college camps, weight lifting sessions at the school every week day.
We also had a 7 on 7 league with other area schools in July. Basically a non contact scrimmage without linemen but most teams brought a center to snap the ball.
When 2 a days rolled around after the mandatory number of no contact practices we brought mattresses and lived in the gym for a week. Ended camp on a Saturday with a live scrimmage.
Now it is really year round with HS having a spring practice.
