    What is this hose?

We're trying to identify this hose/connection on my gf's 1988 WR. The other end has a hose clamp but it wasn't connected to anything, it was just sitting in the bilge. Is it some sort of quick disconnect for pump out?

You sure? The engine has a 6 in hose with a garden attachment coming off it. Or would it be possible that the red hose was replaced by the garden attachment, and just left sitting on the gas tank?

Yep, its a flush hose. Seem like the previous owner couldnt find the other end of the quick connector and replace it with a graden hose connecter instead. Make sure to put a cap on the garden hose connector.

I'll post up a pic of the current flush setup when I get back to Wisconsin on Monday.

The ski is run in a lake in cheese land no worry! Fresh water is the best to clean out a motor. Lucky you I need to use saltaway. Lee
