which grate for RXP-X
I have a completly stock 2009 RXP-X. I'm thinking of installing an aftermarket grate, but i don't know which one to go with. The grate is the only mod that i am planning on doing with the ski, so i'm looking for one that gives better outta the hole performance as well as top end speed.(if theres one out there that performs better then the stock one).

If it is speed you need, pick up the R&D grate. This alone will give you 3 mph. I did not loose any hole shot but it does come unhooked in the rough stuff. You probably will have to repitch your prop too. I know when I put my grate on, I was all over the rev limiter.
From what I understand, the R&D is about the fastest but the Worx gives better rough water hook up.
If you are in rough water, you might want to try the Worx first.
Do some searches on the forum. There are several threads about this.

I have both the r&d and worx. I would recommend the worx over the r&d grate for a rec ski. You will see better hookup and holeshot while getting 2mph or so on the top end. The r&d is prefered by the over 80mph guys because of the overstuff issue. I would be running the worx but I'm stuck with the r&d since I'm planning on joinig the 80mph club.

I run the standard one. Put one on and see where your rpms are at. You may be good.
