Exclamation gpr 1200 that wont go over 3mph and will die if throttle let off

i took out my ski for the first time this season and left out and i noticed it went into limp mode (28 mph top speed) so i headed back in then oh crap it died. started it back up and ran it back in (2-3mph tops) and loaded it. started it on land, and it sounds fine and idles. It ran perfect last season and i put stabol in it and its garage kept

I didn't even know there was a limp mode on our skis.

Have you checked the usual stuff? Battery, fuel filter, oil level, oil lines, fuel pickup flapper....

when you had it running, you should have just popped the seat off, feel the cylinders with your hand and then you will know which ones aren't firing, always carry spare plugs with a 2 stroke. All you need is compression, spark and fuel.

i found out that the ski is only running on the first (closest to the gas tank) cylinder. whats the problem?????? cdi?????

i did change the sparkplugs and fuel filter. and removed the fuel flapper.
