Having experienced a catastrophic failure myself....

The oil pan is solid with the exception of a plug that has no reason to be removed and two fittings for the oil pump.
Having said that I would possibly suspect a broken seal on the oil pan, leaking fittings to the oil pump (o-rings) or the gasket on the oil pump itself leaking. Beyond that I would hate to even think...

Don't want to freak you out, but I would check the compression and plugs just for sanity sake. How low is the oil?

Hi Tyson, sorry to hear about your engine trouble! Speeding up while the cooling water does not flow does not sound right to me... Hope your oil leak is only by a seal that did not like the temps during the blockage.

Not sure how that could happen since it just connects to the oil separator exit that normally goes to the stock intake tube. There shouldn't be much oil at all coming from there under normal circumstances.

Maybe the small hose going from the bottom of the separator to the engine was off? I had that happen once and got a touch of oil tossed around.

Regardless, it doesn't sound like anything major and that is good!
