Removing Pump Tunnel
Tried and tried doing searches on how to remove the pump tunnel on a 97 GP1200 to no avail.
Can some one either please tell me how to remove the pump tunnel from the ski or direct me to a link. Is this also known as the pump shoe on a 1997??
I have removed the grate / pump and the 2 bolts holding the tunnel underneath, it rocks from side to side but wont pull out. Is there bolts from the inside of the ski still holding it?

Finally got the Intake Duct off with a big rubber mallet.
I loosened the intermediate bearing and housing thinking this was what was stopping it coming back.
I was expecting to find some type of seal or silicone where the housing butts the ski body but there is nothing there, is it advisable to squirt some silicone between the ski and housing??
How do you get the intermediate bearing housing to move slightly forward to squeeze silastic between there.
Also is there some special way or something I must watch out for when I tap the Intake Duct back into position.

I seal the intake duct to the hull using 3M-4200 or 5200. Once it dries trim the excess nice and neat to make a smooth seal.

I was more concerned about the round hole in the hull where the intake duct sits in, and where the intermediate bearing housing bolts to, it doesn't seem to have had any prior sealing in this area. I have read plenty on sealing the duct to hull but unsure what I should do in that section.

Pack the tube that the driveshaft slides through with marine grease.
