Help. Water in oil and pistons
Hello to all. Its been a while since I posted. I have a 2005 rxp with riva stage 3. I took it out after it sat for 6 months and hit the ocean. About 5 min into my ride it started bogging on me and would clear out then bog again. I do have the cold air riva intake thats relocated behind the seat and think maybe its from the splashes that could of got there. My question is can water that enters thru that intake get to the oil? When i got home I opened the plugs up and sucked like 1/2 cup of water. Can it be the head gaskets? Your help is greatly appreciated.

Sounds like a blown head gasket. You need to do a pressure test to find out, if you don't want to disassemble the motor to look.
