I've been told that the Yamaha Diagnostic Software and connection cable can datalog stock ECU equipped skis.

How about this from Innovative Motorsports?

I keep thinking that the more stuff like this that I purchase and install is already included in a MoTeC...

Let's see, I've installed a temp gauge (reads discharge water temp--about 100° F ) an LC-1, boost gauge and Pet tach. All of which are logged with an aftermarket ECU.

Next year I will have one.

I have used both models on cars since their inception. You can read the a/f, rpm input and any 0-5 volt analog inputs. I am in process of installing the LM on my FZ. Even if they are not a true 0-5 input you can scale them with the logworks software.

All you really need on a ski for tuning wot is a/f, boost and rpm. The icing on the cake would be to get engine temp, plus, pre and post IC temps.

A while back I think SHObiz posted the scaling for the stock temp sensor.
