Pump Breakdown Help Working Thread
Ok im off work today and decided to breakdown the pump fit new impeller bearing etc
Im gonna use this thread as my help im stuck thread because im sure this aint gonna be the first problem
Ive got the 4 long bolts out and crack the rear nozzle but i cant remove the solid pipe piece from the cone end, if i wiggle it the hole pipe moves and im worried about dragging it out of the hull
heres a pick of the pipe in question
Would it be ok to disconnect the pipe inside th ehull and pull it all through?? The pipe is turning and moving but the lid aint moving

Just wiggle (not rotate, more of an in and out, left and right motion) and work it loose. It is just corrosion that is holding the exit nozzle fitting onto the end of the water tube.
If you can spray some penetrant into the seal area where the tube fits into the nozzle, that might help. Be sure to clean it all off the O-ring once you get it apart.

Make sure you remove the hose that's connected to it inside the hull....and then just pull. It'll either come out of the hull or come out of the pump assembly.
If it does come out of the hull, you'll need some sealant when you put it back together.

What bgaiden stated, then just pull that fucking thing, she'll come out.
Then of course do a proper install and re-seal of the pipe when it goes back together.
