how much pitch should I add?
I've got the old riva SC wheel with 4" intake and thru hull exaust. With a used 14/19 that was repitched before I'm cavitating out of the hole and hitting at 8200 in the 100+ heat.
I just installed an intercooler, how much pitch should I add to hit the magic 8150? I'm thinking 3mm???
ya I know get a bigger prop and I will, but I want to ride on thursday.

That's probably about right.... especially with the temps below 90.
Was the 14/19 pitched down? It sounds like it. If so, the 3mm can be added rather easily. If it has already been pitched up, it may be a stretch.

I agree with Jeff. If it's been pitched down then throw 3 mm in it and you should be okay.

I'll add the 3mm and see what happens. I bought it used and it was pitched an unknown amount.

Damn this is harder then I thought. My wrench keeps slipping off. I was only able to get increase the pitch 2mm.
We'll see what happens Thursday. I wish I could figure out how to change props at the ramp. I can't get the tool clamped to the trailer tight enough. I wish I had an old drive shaft, I'd weld that to the trailer
