RXP vs. Ultra 250
Where would you spend your money? Modifying a 07’ RXP or a 07’ Ultra 250? I am just kind of curious to see what people have to say. I am not trying to turn this into a kawi vs. seadoo flame fest (even thought I already see it coming). I am just trying to hear peoples reasoning behind their choice of ski.

how are you going to spend money modding something if you can't get parts?
The ultra is too new to answer this question, ask again in 2-3 years.

I'd wait a couple years. See if Kawi brings out a 2 seater version of it. Also see what Yami and Seadoo respond with. That should give time for mods to come out for the 250.
I know playing the waiting game is a waste, but I just think getting the first year for anything is ify.
I really like my RXP though and want to stick with it for a long time. Kinda attached to it since it's my first ski.

It will probably cost less to get the Ultra 250 to 300hp than it does an RXP 215 to 300hp. But who knows how expensive the mods will cost.
Watch yami come out with less like a 200 hp or 190 hp new ski.
Won't matter if it can do 70 mph OTB.

I have always been partial to sea-doo (all of my skis have been sea-doo). I did like the ultra 150 when that was out, but had way too much into my XPL to even think about dumping money into another 2stroke. The ultra 250 will at least make for some healthy competition between the manufactures. The 250 motor in a lighter package would be sweet though.

The only problem is; 300 hp will just get 74 mph with the Kawi. WHEN you do the R@D and go through the BS of a new model... Sounds like a nightmare to me.
