My RXP Got it doors blown off?????

Luckily, it was not by another ski.
It was a speedboat with a bored over 454 with a prop out back.
From a dead stop, I could jump him 30-40 boats.
He wanted to go from a 35-40 start so I did and still jumped him about 10 boats. Once he got going, he just walked away.
He stopped and we talked a little and he said he had never seen a ski that fast. I let him take the GPS on one of our races and he brought it back with a top speed of 88.9.

He said that in smooth water he could hit 95-100.

Now if my ski would only go that fast???

David I am sorry I forgot to call??

They were cool, we watched from the water mostly, Nick was at the pits.

It was the first time we ever left our son, (18 months) so we came home Sat. night and went to Enid Sunday. That is where the boat was, 20' long or so Yellow with a red stipe. Heavy set guy driving.

I know it is tough to leave your son when they are that young. How did you and nick do on the timed course? Was that boat converted from a jet boat? I have a 22' Baja that I have had up to 77mph. It feels like it is going to come out of the water at that speed.

They did not set up anything for us to do?
No poker run, no bouys, no radar runs.
Nick went last year and said there were way more racers there than last year.
He said there were some really fast 785's there.
The RXP's did not do well as the course was really small.
There was one 97 XP that he said ran great.

The XP's seemed to dominate all the classes from what he said.

It did not seem to be a jet boat, a drive shaft went out the back to an outdrive type unit. It appeared to be about 3' long.
Behind the seat was just an open area with the motor sitting in it.
