    Skips's Gen2 Racecraft

So Ive been building for some time now, been trying every damn thing known to man for these Ultra's.

I am now moving forward into the next generation race Ultra.

Starting with a new lightweight Ultra Profile Hull from Lee Manvell. Cutting up a 260 we have the hood and seat molded , layed and mounted.

Motor package is going to be alot different then whats already out there. Turning away from Vortech and moving in another direction in hopes to have a alternitave to belt problems in CC racing.

Here is a the very first photos of our development.

Nice! At first glance I thought you switched camps! Thought I was looking at an old yami gp.
I absolutely love that hood/seat combo!

very nice skippy, wish I had your budget, I see the ram air mod moved to the sides, how are you directing this into the hull. Bet your putting a hair dryer on it?

I think that Ultra could use a 2.8L 8. Just my opinion.

Here is the design we are going with for the bottom. We know that at 360HP it can reach 82mph in full race trim using the stock Ultra plate.

It is a true copy of a Ultra "V" hull but with pump tunnel changes along with some other slight modification for improved handling.
