Would I Be Laughed Off The Lake?

I want to get back on the water again. Grew up right on Georgian Bay, always had boats and toys at the cottage, but I don't want to break the bank with yet another hobby...(wife just may kill me. ). I found this. May be good to get my feet wet again. If nothing else, it comes with a newer trailer. http://www.autotrader.ca/used_cars_P...v=Ontario&r=40

If you are going to get something cheap, at least get a Seadoo with the 580 engine. There are tons of parts around for cheap. You will have a hard time finding parts for repair for the Yamaha in Canada.

The add is completly wrong. It's a Yamaha Waverunner, and 86 or 87 model. Sitdown watercraft were not around in 77.

Who cares about what it is, just get out on the water and have fun.

That's too bad, it was a decent deal... trailer is almost worth 800 alone

I know, I was really looking forward to this one. Trailer looked in great shape. I guess there's still deals out there if you dig around a bit. I agree with 785XP's reply though....parts may have been a bit scarce for a Runner. Maybe I should be looking at something a bit more bountiful, like the SeaDoo....but a deal's a deal.

When checking out sites like Kijiji, you may want to consider looking at surrounding cities to find a deal if you havn't already

I've seen a few on the water last weekend!
    They are so tiny.
