    Speakers on a RXP-X

Has anyone tried or installed speakers on a RXPX or RXP? I have an X and saw a lot of different types of speakers and amps for jet ski's... Just want to see what people have tried before I dump any money into it. I would like to pop the mirrors out and try and integrate the speakers where the mirrors are to avoid cutting a hole somewhere on the ski. Any info would help.
    Thanks!

2fun4u mounted some underneath the hood. Not functional when riding but very cool when you get to your destination. Think he just uses his Ipod and a small amp.

    Get an I-pod...

Seriously make a small removable speaker box that you can put down in the glove box, speakers small enough to fit in your mirrors would suck.

    Ski Stereo

I went for it and it worked great for a whole two weeks. I was scared at first to get water on it and took it easy for the first week or so but the second week I got confident that It was a marine amp and it was made to get a little water splash and nothing was gong to happen to it...well I went to government cut(typically smallest wave is around 4-5 feet) and it got.....soaked.....and that was the end of that....It looked really nice and it was cool....for a whole two weeks.....

I took it out of the ski and going to try to find a different alternative/setup that I can run that would be a little more waterproof.

In total I spent around $100

I bring these with me. They have a four hour battery life and work with ipods or aux cable enabled devices. They fold up and come with a water resistant carrying case.

I use my droid and stream pandora usually.

i just installed this 4x6 alpine speaker in my right mirror pod with a kenwood 350w amp along with a line out to my ipod. it's really loud and doesn't smoke the battery. the amp doesn't get wet and the speaker stays safe behind the mirror cover. speaker isn't waterproof and it's fine
