So this is what happens for being nice.

tried to help a friend out on his ski, rebuild the carbs, rejet and add flame arrestors, replace fuel lines, well I never bother to check the pop off pressure, since the ski only had 30 hrs, well its been running like crap since I worked on it, he kept calling me and telling me that "he read we should do this" he read that we should do that" and its been crawling under my skin, he got all this mixed opinions from some other ppl and apparently he's been spoonfed shit.
he knows nothing about skis and I'm fed of his "i read that" I read this"

we done rejetted his carbs like 2 times, and I told him that I needed to check the pop off, well he brings a friend over with the carbs in his hand, and the lines are all mixed up. looks like a CF, so I finally check the pop off, and one is fine and the other pops off at 30psi, well the friend thinks we should install the stock airbox back, so I just pretty much had it. The pop off is not even on both carbs, so there's the problem! the friend thinks he knows cause he rides stand ups. But all this time I been looking like a dumbass, in front of his friends because I been blamed for someone elses mistakes, he has been the one rushing through this, now he's rushing looking for a tps sensor and carb springs for this friday

I just had to vent, I'm fed of him being at my house daily and taking off the carbs all the time.

Why would he need a TPS sensor on a carbed ski?

at 3/4 throttle the tps tells the computer to retard the timing 12 degrees.

We got the ski running now, I had to explain the stand up guy that both the carbs have to have the same pop off pressure. The carbs look like a cluster f*** because he changed the routing of the fuel lines, I told him thats how they came from factory, the lines are now looping all over the place, I told my friend that if he needed help to come to me, and stop reading bullshit at PWCyesterday, the stand up guy also wanted to change the needle and seat which is not needed on our set up. So the stand up guy put the stock air box and jets back in and left it at that,

so much for the Pro-k and re jets
    they'l be collecting dust soon.

Tell your friend to tell the stand up guy that maybe he should find a nice "couch" to sit on and rethink his wrenching skills.
