    Trying to Decide

We've all seen Yamaha with their throttle style trim and of course the aftermarket pull levers for the drop nozzles.
What I want to do to the Matrix is add one of the two. I want to get the nose up and out of the water still more and I think I can do it by pointing the nozzle higher to the sky.
In a quick test a couple years ago I installed about 10 degrees of wedge (PITA) and did get more top end but of course it came with a huge sacrifice or two.
Planing time sucked and looking at the air for that long gives me nose bleeds.
Going over chop turns it into a porpoise sack.
And of course the handling during play time (turns etc.) really sucks.
So I guess the question is do I use the standard pull lever and have a flat or 0 and then when I pull or release the handle have roughly 6.
Or do I install the Yamai set up and have something like 2 6 and 10 degrees?
I'm leaning towards the Yami set up but think it looks weak compared to the set up I have now, I love the ODI's.
    What would you guys do??

rig a polaris trim -- remote mount the trim motor where you were thinking putting the yami trim/cam thing in the hull !!!!!!!!!!!!

Al, I can't remember...has anyone tried modding the ride plate to get more angle out of it?

You can put ODI grips on the stock GPR trim.

Another possibility but to remote mount is difficult at best due to space constraint with the trippples taking all the space back there.

Yes but you eventually hit the pump assembly without getting much more than 6 degrees and then your still forced to have the nose up all the time.
This takes away planing time and a better feel with a lower nose in some conditions.

Now that's the ticket right there, the last I saw it couldn't be done due to the grip size needed.

I installed the 6* yesterday with that '03 ride plate, and it could still use more when using that plate when on smooth. Something that could pull a 8* would be nice on smooth water. Which one gets that done?
