    R.E. Blockoffs: Poor Fitment?

Anyone else have an issue with the fitment of the RE blockoffs? Mine in particular, the right side blockoff is perfect while the left side block off sticks out past the hull, potentitally causing drag. Psychorxp helped me install it today and we had to even remove the small bolt that holds the blockoff from the back to make it sit properly.

Wondering if anyone else has had any issues with them.

I had a hard time with the left side as well on my 05. Took quite a bit of work modifying the block off to make it fit properly. My right & left RE's were identical in size all the way around... the problem was the pockets in the hull were not identical in depth.

On my RE's, the gaps were excessive. I had to put way too much silicon to fill the gaps between the block-off and the hull. When I had the Riva's, just a small bead to fill in the gap. Seems like quality control doesn't exist.. On mine the left side fit alot better than the right.

I had Riva's as well initially... and yes they did fit way better, without modifications & huge silicone beads.

Hull variations will always be a problem. Those having trouble fitting them can reference this thread. It should help some

The RE that doesn't fit right, make the four bolt holes larger. Should allow for better fitment.
