    Tuesday Night?

Anyone else coming from the North on Tuesday staying closer to the Wednesday ride launch at the Canal Bank Club (actually looking to shorten the Tuesday drive and not have to go North again from MCHI on Wed)?

With 83Gator's guidance, we will be staying the night in Gonzales at the Holiday Inn. Rooms are a bit pricier than at MCHI but are available. Mapquest says the hotel is 18 minutes drive from the launch.

Looking forward to meeting fellow Hulksters for a chilly-one.

Looking like Harry and myself are going to do the same thing. We are leaving Nashville hopefully by 7 pm and drive about 7 or 8 hours and get a few hours sleep and about 3 hours later be at the wednesday ride.

Guys, there may be a few less expensive hotels in Gonzales (I-10 @ Hwy 30). I guess you'd have to look at GE or Cheaphotels.com or something like that. Prob. a little more of a local "flea bag". But the local HI is the nicer one in town. Just some FYI for those on a budget.

They also have a fairly nice restaurant in the hotel. And it's not hotel food. Pretty good LA seafood. I know of another one in town, too. My wife's brother own's it

If anybody needs any local directions, I can be reached pretty much anytime at (225) 445-4036. (Cell)

I'm glad ya'll are making the Wed. ride, it's a very scenic tank burner. And we can find beer & food on the water.

Would be interested in some good LA seafood--been a long time. Post your bro-in-laws restaurant's number so I can give them a call.

This is just about the longest day of work I've ever had.

I used to think troyheb was excited until I got close to leaving...

    Family Rest: http://www.snosseafood.com/

Check out the menu; I'm a fan of the Shrimp Hilda (named after my wife's grandmother). Let me know if ya'll are interested - we could meet there.

Oh damn. Making me hungry, and I just ate lunch. We wont be making this ride, but I will be filling this restaurant away for the next time we pass through. My kind of food.

I'm in. Flexible on time too--we'll be in town sometime around 2PM or so. Two of us.

Printed the menu and now my mouth is watering. Can one person eat the whole Sno's Seafood Platter???

You'd have to have a pretty good appetite. But it's not as big as the Ole 96er...
